The secret of simplicity

Maybe you have to completely shatter to learn how to glue yourself together again, and maybe you have to be left in the dark to notice even the slightest signs of light. Maybe it’s only after you hit rock bottom that you are looking for anything that might help you to get back up. But maybe, just maybe you can see the beauty and radiance of life without having to go where I have been. Here’s what will turn your bad days good, and your good days great-The simple things in life. Sounds cliché? Maybe you will have to wait and be at your darkest hour to read this blog entry and realize that this is no cliché.

Here is a list things that keep me going:
Hearing the right song and the right time.
Warm bedsheets/towels right out of the dryer.
A compliment when you least expected it.
First kisses.
Sleeping while it’s raining.
Having fresh flowers on your vanity table.
Skinny-dipping.
Laughing until you cry.
Finding 20 dollars in your back pocket.
Deep conversations.
Finishing a really good book.
Singing at the top of your lungs.
Self-Exploring.
A homemade meal.
Sitting in an outdoor Jacuzzi while  It’s snowing .
A night of dancing.
Checking something off your “To-Do” list.
Taking a long, warm, relaxing shower.
A good view.
Hot soup on a cold night.
The perfect breeze.
Love.
XOXO, LALA.
